The Makeba Duster - The story of a singing activist!

"The Makeba" is named after the amazing Miriam Makeba, an South African born singer turned activist who became known as Mama Africa. She was beautiful and sung like an angel who demanded the presence of everyone she encountered. She even caught the eye of American Icon Harry Bellafonte!

As an advocate against white supremacy and injustice. She mostly sung about ending the apartheid movement where she eventually was banned from reentry into South Africa when trying to return from one of her tours in the 1960's. This increased the fire within her to grow within her activism and speak more about ending apartheid, uniting as a nation and removing poisonous influencers within the African government.

SAY HER NAME... Miriam Makeba!
