“The Darego” is named after the gorgeous beauty, Agbani Darego who made history in the beauty pageantry industry in 2001 when she became the first native African to win the Miss World title. She changed the perception of beauty to allow the world to see black in brown beauty in it’s entirety by seeing its beauty in Nigerian women. She extended the paths of what beauty can be. The different hues and shapes we all come in.

Darego soon ventured off to become a well respected supermodel, featuring in several global campaigns and magazines, inspiring young Nigerian women to further their careers within the beauty and modeling industry.
