Hello Beautiful Goddesses!
It’s crazy to say that May is quickly coming to an end. We’ve been quarantining for two months now and it’s definitely brought a moment of reflection on ourselves, our company, our goals and our community as a whole. When revisiting the past few years we've increasingly grown concerned with the state of wealth within the black community. Did you know in 2018, we spent 1.2 trillion dollars? Yet somehow we still withhold less than 1% wealth within America.
We want to actively change that narrative to work more in our favor we know we definitely have the resources! Since under quarantining we've seen companies such as Target and Amazon spike in revenue do to all of us shopping online and at the same time to relatively the same companies. Our collective dollars have made these businesses millions (if not billions) of dollars. Why don’t we use that same “Pandemic Urgency” within our own community?!

Join our new initiative started by our Founder, LaShawn Kenley to begin #BBOJune {which stands for Buy Black Only June}. The point is to see for the entire month of June how much you can shop at black owned companies to improve the wealth of our community. If you can’t do 100% do to your location and access to black owned businesses in your region, can you do 40%, 50%, 80% more than what you've done in the previous months? Can we shop online like we do at Amazon and Target to create success stories for Black owned businesses? We Definitely Can!!

This initiative already has over 200 participants wanting to try out the effort together!
